I got married right out of High School to Catherine Ableman. We had two children (Brenna 1971 and Kamron 1975) I completed 6 years in the Navy 1972-1978. Moved back to ND after being discharged. Moved to SD in 1984, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1989 and moved to Dubuque, Iowa in December 1989. I got divorced in 1987 while I was living and attending college in South Dakota. I moved here to Iowa in 1989 after graduating. I have been working for the Department of Correctional Services since 1992 as a probation/parole officer. Planning on retiring in October of this year after 26 years. I remarried in 1998 to a local woman (Robyn) who had a one year old child Nikole. My children are still living in N.D. Both of them moved back to the Alexander area. My son is married and has two children; MacKenna (20 yrs) attending school in Alexander and Kaleb (24 yrs) working in the oil field after graduating from High School. Kamron works for the oil field in Williston and my daughter Brenna is a Physician's Assistant working at the hospital in Williston local hospital. When Robyn and I got married we built a house on an acre of land and have continued to live there until present. My wife was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We don't get back to Williston very often now that most of my family (brothers and sister) have moved to Montana, Washington and Iowa. I continue to love the outdoors spending my time golfing, fishing, hunting and working in my yard. Life continues to be very good to me since graduating in 1970. I have been able to travel extensively while in the service and we always take a vacation yearly. Last year we took a cruise to Nassau, Grand Turk and San Juan Islands. We had my Kids and their kids with us. Didn't think I would enjoy getting back on a ship but it wasn't as bad as when I was in the Navy. My wife is cancer free so we are back to enjoying life. Can hardly wait for retirement then the Honey Do List can get done. Enjoying life as it comes.
