Randy Livers

Memorial services for Randall "Randy" Livers, 52, Sidney, will be 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at the Church of Christ with Rev. Richard Eggar officiating. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney.

Randall John Livers was born Sept. 5, 1952, at Rolla, N.D., the son of John and Wilma (Mahnke ) Livers. Randall attended school in Williston, N.D., and graduated from Williston High School. He then roamed the country for a short time before enlisting in the Navy, serving in the Vietnam area. After several months of duty, he received a medical discharge. Upon returning from Vietnam, Randy took the Mechanics Course at Williston State College and graduated with honors.

He became very interested in education that would later equip him with the ability to spread the word of God. Randy enrolled in Lubbock Christian College, Lubbock, Texas, where he spent three years there, graduating in 1975. His love for the Lord took him to churches in Wisconsin and Wyoming for ministry.

Randy died on Sunday evening, July 31, 2005, at his home.

Randy is survived by his father, John Livers, Sidney; brothers, Colin (Teresa) Livers, Sidney, and Steve Lodge, Rancho Mirage, Calif.; sisters, Shannon (Conrad) Sloat, Austin, Texas, Linda Heth, Parker, Colo., and Mrs. Stacia (Michael) Thomas, Aurora, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma R. Livers.
